I began my journey at Eden McCallum as an intern, seeking a role alongside completing my master’s degree. After attending a career event hosted by the Amsterdam office, I was immediately struck by the collegial atmosphere and the culture of the firm, which convinced me to apply. During my internship, I had the opportunity to work on a classic strategy consulting project that exposed me to all aspects of consulting—from conducting client interviews and preparing workshops to analysing financial data and producing client deliverables. This first project confirmed that strategy consulting, particularly at Eden McCallum, was the right path for me.

Since joining full-time as an analyst, I’ve had the chance to work on a diverse range of projects and sectors. From private equity to projects in the pharmaceutical industry, financial services, agriculture, and consumer goods, gaining exposure to an impressive variety of industries in just under two years. One personal highlight has been traveling to Paris for a project with a French bank.

The combination of a steep learning curve, the opportunity to take on significant responsibility early in my career and working one-on-one with highly experienced consultants (often with 8+ years of MBB+ experience) has made my time here incredibly rewarding. Additionally, Eden McCallum’s training program and personalized mentorship structure has been instrumental in my professional development.

Beyond professional growth, Eden McCallum has offered plenty of memorable moments, from lovely New Year’s dinners and Secret Santa parties to cohort trainings both in Amsterdam and London, and especially the annual ski trips. Looking ahead, I’m eager to continue expanding my knowledge across new sectors, tackling fresh challenges, and collaborating with other professionals to further develop my career.
