Our UK office charity of the year: The Felix Project
We are delighted to announce The Felix Project as our UK charity of the year. Chosen by our staff, The Felix Project aims to stop food waste and end hunger in London. In 2021, it provided food for 30,000,000 meals, and continues to grow rapidly.
The Felix Project collects or receives food from over 539 suppliers (supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants and delis) and redistributes it to c. 1,000 front-line organisations such as food banks, social kitchens, charities, schools, and day centres. For more details, please visit The Felix Project website here.
At Eden McCallum, social impact is a core part of our DNA. Supporting The Felix Project enables us to contribute both volunteering time and fund-raising efforts, so everyone can play an important role in supporting the Project. The charity’s dual mission – of ending food waste and feeding the hungry – also resonates with our environmental and social sustainability mission as a firm. We are delighted to have found such an ideal match.
Over the course of the year, we will be planning volunteer days as well as fund-raising events, involving our staff, clients and consultants. Meanwhile, if you would like to donate to The Felix Project, please see our Just Giving page here.
