Supporting The Felix Project in 2023

We have been delighted to support The Felix Project as our UK charity of the year in 2023 with several volunteer days, a fundraiser event, and Christmas food collection.

Our volunteer days involved both internal staff and independent consultants spending a day at the charity’s depot in Poplar prepping and packaging meals to distribute to those in need in local communities. We have had great feedback from our teams who not only enjoyed volunteering but have been thoroughly impressed with the operation of The Felix Project and are keen to visit and volunteer again.

We were also delighted to have raised over £2,000 for the charity at our musical fundraiser night in May. A brilliant night was had by all as we uncovered some fantastic hidden talents from the Eden McCallum team, ranging from singers and musicians to a very special tribute act! The Felix Project collects or receives food from over 539 suppliers (supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants and delis) and redistributes it to c. 1,000 front-line organisations such as food banks, social kitchens, charities, schools, and day centres, producing over 30 million meals a year.  The charity’s dual mission – of ending food waste and feeding the hungry – resonates with our environmental and social sustainability mission as a firm.
