Petri is an experienced consultant with particularly deep expertise in Telecoms and Technology.
Petri began his career in industrial management. He went on to spend over a decade with McKinsey in London and Atlanta, ultimately leading client relationships as a Partner, subsequently joining their Business Technology Office (‘BTO’). He then worked at BT plc as Corporate Strategy Director, and became a Partner and equity analyst at Redburn Partners, leading coverage of the European Telecoms sector.
Since working with Eden McCallum as an independent consultant since 2010, Petri has led project teams for clients in the telecoms and software industries on issues ranging from strategy to operational and technology transformation. He is also an investor and advisor to a number of technology and media growth businesses and growth-focused institutional investors.
John has four decades of strategy, marketing and commercial experience, including operational improvement, change and transformation, focused particularly in the consumer, leisure, and retail sectors.
A former Professor of Marketing with Stanford and LBS, John then spent 10 years leading projects with MAC Group/Gemini Consulting. He headed Gemini’s Consumer & Retail Division, and was global Head of Innovation. He went on to transform and build an international professional services business as CEO of SHL Group.
He is also Chairman of the project management firm Chaucer Consulting, and a Visiting Professor of Management at Cass Business School.
Barrie began her career in marketing at Procter & Gamble. After business school, she spent 16 years at Booz & Co in London and New York, where she was a partner focused on the consumer, media and retail sectors.
Barrie then launched and led her own independent consulting practice, working principally in partnership with private equity and was also CEO of ?What If!, a global innovation consultancy.
Barrie is an independent consultant at Eden McCallum where she works on projects helping companies develop strategies for growth. She holds a BA from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Tony is a seasoned partner-level independent consultant with over 30 years of consulting experience in strategy, transformation and transactions, serving corporate clients and investors in the transport, travel and leisure sectors.
Tony’s early career was at Oliver Wyman in the US. Thereafter, he joined LEK Consulting in London and founded his own strategy consulting firm. Until recently, he was a Partner at EY and Global Head of Transportation, Infrastructure & Logistics for EY-Parthenon. Tony has an MBA/SM from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, and a BA (hons) in Economics. Pre-MBA, he worked as an economist for the World Bank and at a consulting firm.
Tony is a non-executive director of an airport and chairs MIT’s alumni association in the UK.
Ricardo is a former Bain & Company partner with over 25 years’ experience in strategy development and organisational and operational improvement projects, serving clients across a range of sectors including technology, telecoms, transportation, and banking.
In addition to project work, Ricardo has been involved in successfully starting up several strategy consulting operations in Spain. The most recent of these was the opening of Bain & Company’s offices in Madrid, where he was a Partner for over 10 years. During this time, he was a key member of the TMT & financial services European leadership teams and the head of the Iberian customer loyalty practice.
Ricardo set up his own consulting company in 2013 and started working with Eden McCallum in 2014, overseeing key client projects in Iberia. He holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad de Deusto, and an MBA from IESE.
Jörg is a former Partner and Managing Director of the Boston Consulting Group in São Paulo and Zurich. His expertise spans multiple sectors, particularly Industrial Goods and Telecoms/Technology.
Jörg began his career in the semiconductors industry, having completed a PhD in Computational Physics and an MSc in Electrical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He originally joined BCG in Zurich, transferred to São Paulo by way of Buenos Aires, and returned to Zurich in 2008. He went on from BCG to industrial group Sulzer, where he led Corporate Strategy, Acquisitions and Transformation prior to becoming an independent consultant for Eden McCallum.
David is a consulting partner and former physician with more than 20 years’ experience in strategy across pharmaceuticals, healthcare and a range of other industry sectors.
Following his early career as a medical doctor, David joined Novartis in a pharmacovigilance role. He then started his consulting career at McKinsey & Company before transferring to Bain & Company, where he specialised in strategy, organisation and change management. He subsequently worked at Accenture as a senior executive in their operations strategy and operational excellence group.
An independent consultant since 2008, David has been leading Eden McCallum projects since 2010. He has a reputation as a strong strategic thinker, helping clients to bring process and structure to strategic issues, and facilitate management teams to make decisions.
David is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Philosophy in Political Thought from Cambridge University.
Patrick is an independent consultant and qualified medical doctor whose broad experience in strategy development, due diligence and M&A spans the Healthcare and Telecoms/Technology sectors.
Originally qualified as a medical doctor, Patrick spent 12 years with Bain in the Netherlands, working across strategy, operations, organisation, PMI, and M&A/due diligence. In addition to extensive work in healthcare, particularly medical devices and primary care, he served telecoms and technology clients, including a year leading the turnaround of a major telco. While at Bain he continued to work as an emergency room physician.
Patrick has been an independent consultant for Eden McCallum since 2012 and has led teams for our clients across the healthcare sector, internationally. He is founder and director of security service companies Seraph Protection Group, focused on security solutions for high risk zones, and Guardian Cross Security Solutions, an NGO which provides security for NGO/NFP humanitarian efforts.
Frances is an experienced financial services consultant with particularly deep expertise in wealth management and retail financial services.
After an early career at Lloyds Banking Group, Frances gained over 30 years’ consulting experience with OC&C, Gemini Consulting (CGEY) and as an independent consultant. A Vice-President and key member of the global FS leadership team at Gemini Consulting, she has worked for over twenty years at Board and Executive level at major European financial services players, especially in France, Spain, Benelux, and Scandinavia, in addition to the UK.
Her clients have included private banks / wealth managers, asset managers and retail banks, focusing primarily on strategy development including go-to-market strategies, D2C strategy, organisation restructuring and operating model design.
As an expert in her field, she has led a number of projects serving our financial services clients across Europe to address their most important strategic challenges.
Aimée is a former MAC Group/Gemini Consulting strategy partner, and has over 25 years’ experience in strategy development across sectors, most notably real estate, travel and leisure and financial services.
Formerly a Vice President within MAC Group/Gemini Consulting’s strategy practice, Aimée went on to work over a number of years with European travel group TUI, supporting them on strategy, distribution, and operational excellence.
Aimée has been working with Eden McCallum for over a decade and has led major projects for our clients across sectors, with a particular track record in projects linking strategy and operations. She is also a non-executive director at leading European outlet mall developer/manager McArthur Glen.
Rosanne has led strategy development and organisational change programmes for more than 30 years. She has deep experience in UK retail and leisure, and in travel and business services internationally. She spent 5 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, and also works in retail financial services.
She started her career with BCG in London and became a Partner in the Retail and Consumer Goods practice. Following BCG she spent 5 years with Quintiles (now IQVIA). From 2014-18 she was Group Strategy Director for SSP plc where she developed the Group’s strategy for shareholder value creation and was responsible for driving operational improvement programmes across the organisation globally.
Rosanne has worked with Eden McCallum since 2002, overseeing projects in the consumer and B2B services sectors, with a focus on corporate strategy and value creation. She is a Non Executive Director of Allianz Insurance plc and Rothschild Diamonds.
Chris has over 25 years of strategy and operational improvement experience, and particular expertise in innovation and growth within consumer and technology-led businesses. He also works extensively in other sectors, recently including leisure and consumer goods.
Having begun his career with Bain in London, Chris went on to MAC Group/Gemini Consulting where he was ultimately a Vice President, leading large client and consulting teams in projects focused on strategy and transformation; clients spanned telecoms, financial services, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. He went on to lead growth and innovation consultancy Strategos in Europe.
Chris has worked with Eden McCallum as an independent consultant for over 8 years. In particular he has worked extensively at the interface of technology change and customer behaviour, notably in broadcast media, information services, and in sustainability.
Ulrich is a senior-partner level consultant with over 20 years’ experience in working at the intersection of strategy, operations and technology, particularly in the financial services sector.
Having started his career at McKinsey & Co in Germany and the US, where he focused on financial services, he subsequently became COO of HSH Nordbank AG. He then joined the Executive Board of Avaloq Evolution AG in Zürich as GM for Central and Eastern Europe.
Ulrich holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Darmstadt.
