Impetus transforms the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they get the right support to succeed in school, in work and in life. Impetus finds, funds and builds the most promising charities working with these young people, providing core funding and working shoulder-to-shoulder with their leaders to help them become stronger organisations. In partnership with other funders, they help the charities expand and they influence policy and decision makers so that all young people get the support they need.

Eden McCallum’s partnership with Impetus began in 2007.

Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organisation for children. It saves children’s lives. It fights for their rights. It helps them fulfil their potential. In everything it does, it aims to put the most deprived and marginalised children first. Save the Children works in the UK and globally, and changes the world for children through innovative programmes, bold campaigns, independent advocacy and high-impact partnerships.

We welcomed Save the Children UK into the NGO Partnership in 2014.

Virgin Unite is the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group, founded in 2004 to unite people with entrepreneurial ideas that create opportunities for a better world.Virgin Unite addresses a wide range of social and environmental causes, from raising awareness of the plight of the world’s oceans to advocating for drug policy reform. Working with some great partners, they have incubated several global leadership collaborations such as The Elders, The B Team, Ocean Unite, Carbon War Room, and The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship to spur much needed change in the world.

One of our original NGO partners, Virgin Unite has worked with our consultants on social enterprise and venture philanthropy initiatives in Africa, the UK, and the US.

The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (“The Royal Foundation”) develops programmes and projects based on the charitable interests of Their Royal Highnesses by working with organisations which are already making a proven impact in their respective fields. The Royal Foundation provides additional investment, mentoring and support for these programmes, and lends its own profile and leverage to enhance the effect of their good work.

We were delighted to announce the addition of The Royal Foundation to our NGO Partnership in 2018.
