Petri is an experienced partner with particularly deep expertise in Telecoms and Technology. He is a co-leader of Eden McCallum’s TMT practice.
Petri began his career in industrial management. He went on to spend over a decade with McKinsey in London and Atlanta, ultimately leading client relationships as a Partner, subsequently joining their Business Technology Office (‘BTO’). He then worked at BT plc as Corporate Strategy Director, and became a Partner and equity analyst at Redburn Partners, leading coverage of the European Telecoms sector.
Having joined Eden McCallum in 2010, Petri has led Eden McCallum teams for clients in the telecoms and software industries on issues ranging from strategy to operational and technology transformation. He is also an investor and advisor to a number of technology and media growth businesses and growth-focused institutional investors.
Leo began his career at ExxonMobil and later worked in the Chemical sector for Rohm and Haas (Dow), having completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech and an MBA at Wharton in Philadelphia.
He started his consulting career with A.T. Kearney, based in both London and Madrid, and has worked primarily in the Industrial and Operations spaces covering Energy, Chemicals and Pulp & Paper as well as FMCG.
Leo also held roles as Director of Strategy, as well as Director of Operations Planning at Georgia Pacific’s European headquarters in Brussels.
Having lived and worked across Europe since 2006, Leo has been successfully leading Eden McCallum projects since 2015. He co-leads Eden McCallum’s Industrials practice.
John has four decades of strategy, marketing and commercial experience, including operational improvement, change and transformation, focused particularly in consumer, leisure, and retail. He co-leads Eden McCallum’s Retail & Consumer practice.
A former Professor of Marketing with Stanford and LBS, John then spent 10 years leading projects with MAC Group/Gemini Consulting. He headed Gemini’s Consumer & Retail Division, and was global Head of Innovation. He went on to transform and build an international professional services business as CEO of SHL Group.
He is also Chairman of the project management firm Chaucer Consulting, and a Visiting Professor of Management at Cass Business School.
Barrie began her career in marketing at Procter & Gamble. After business school, she spent 16 years at Booz & Co in London and New York, where she was a partner focused on the consumer, media and retail sectors.
Barrie then launched and led her own independent consulting practice, working principally in partnership with private equity. More recently Barrie was CEO of ?What If!, a global innovation consultancy.
In 2015 Barrie joined Eden McCallum where she helps companies develop strategies for growth – along with the vision, organisation, operations, and capabilities to sustain it. She holds a BA from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In recent years, Barrie has developed a passion for karaoke. When alone, she listens to bossa nova (and does not sing along except by special request).
Ricardo is a former Bain & Company partner with over 25 years’ experience in strategy development and organisational and operational improvement projects, serving clients across a range of sectors including technology, telecoms, transportation, and banking.
In addition to project work, Ricardo has been involved in successfully starting up several strategy consulting operations in Spain. The most recent of these was the opening of Bain & Company’s offices in Madrid, where he was a Partner for over 10 years. During this time, he was a key member of the TMT & financial services European leadership teams and the head of the Iberian customer loyalty practice.
Ricardo set up his own consulting company in 2013 and started working with Eden McCallum in 2014, leading key client relationships in Iberia. He holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad de Deusto, and an MBA from IESE. In his free time he enjoys music, sailing, running, skiing and skateboarding.
Jörg joined Eden McCallum in early 2015 to build our business in Switzerland, along with Dirk Cohausz. He is a former Partner and Managing Director of the Boston Consulting Group in São Paulo and Zurich. His client work spans multiple sectors, particularly Industrial Goods and Telecoms/Technology.
Jörg began his career in the semiconductors industry, having completed a PhD in Computational Physics and an MSc in Electrical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He originally joined BCG in Zurich, transferred to São Paulo by way of Buenos Aires, and returned to Zurich in 2008. He went on from BCG to industrial group Sulzer, where he led Corporate Strategy, Acquisitions and Transformation prior to joining Eden McCallum.
Jörg loves playing table tennis, is a horrible guitar player, and still dreams of getting the noses right on the portraits he regularly draws on his flights.
Patrick is a consulting partner and qualified medical doctor whose broad experience in strategy development, due diligence and M&A spans the Healthcare and Telecoms/Technology sectors. He co-leads Eden McCallum’s Healthcare practice.
Originally qualified as a medical doctor, Patrick spent 12 years with Bain in the Netherlands, working across strategy, operations, organisation, PMI, and M&A/due diligence. In addition to extensive work in healthcare, particularly medical devices and primary care, he served telecoms and technology clients, including a year leading the turnaround of a major telco. While at Bain he continued to work as an emergency room physician.
Patrick joined Eden McCallum in 2012 and has led teams for our clients across the healthcare sector, internationally. He is founder and director of security service companies Seraph Protection Group, focused on security solutions for high risk zones, and Guardian Cross Security Solutions, an NGO which provides security for NGO/NFP humanitarian efforts.
Frances is an experienced financial services partner with particularly deep expertise in wealth management and retail financial services. She co-leads Eden McCallum’s financial services practice.
After an early career at Lloyds Banking Group, Frances gained over 30 years’ consulting experience with OC&C, Gemini Consulting (CGEY) and as an independent consultant. A Vice-President and key member of the global FS leadership team at Gemini Consulting, she has worked for over twenty years at Board and Executive level at major European financial services players, especially in France, Spain, Benelux, and Scandinavia, in addition to the UK.
Her clients have included private banks / wealth managers, asset managers and retail banks, focusing primarily on strategy development including go-to-market strategies, D2C strategy, organisation restructuring and operating model design.
Frances joined Eden McCallum in 2003. As an expert in her field, she has led over 30 successful Eden McCallum projects, serving our financial services clients across Europe to address their most important strategic challenges.
Aimée is a former MAC Group/Gemini Consulting strategy partner, and has over 25 years’ experience in strategy development across sectors, most notably real estate, travel and leisure and financial services. She co-leads our Travel & Leisure and Property practices.
Formerly a Vice President within MAC Group/Gemini Consulting’s strategy practice, Aimée went on to work over a number of years with European travel group TUI, supporting them on strategy, distribution, and operational excellence.
Aimée has been working with Eden McCallum for over a decade and has led over 25 major projects for our clients across sectors, with a particular track record in projects linking strategy and operations. She is also a non-executive director at leading European outlet mall developer/manager McArthur Glen.
Steve’s experience in strategy, policy and operations spans over 30 years. He is a co-leader of Eden McCallum’s Energy & Utilities and TMT practices.
Originally an economist, Steve then spent two decades with PwC’s management consultancy division and IBM Global Services. As a Partner, Steve was Head of PwC’s Strategy Practice, Energy & Utilities practice, and Economic & Policy practice. He worked in over 35 countries in both the commercial and public sectors, and played a leading role in the reform and privatisation of the UK’s electricity sector. His work included business and regulatory strategy, operations and efficiency, PMI, change management, financial policies and capital structure, IT design, and major IT programme delivery. On IBM’s acquisition of PwC consulting Steve became VP in IBM’s Global Services division, heading their Industrial practice across Northern Europe and leading the UK Strategy and Energy & Utilities consulting practices.
Steve began working with Eden McCallum in 2006 and has served our clients in Telecoms, Energy, Broadcasting, and Regulation.
Chris has over 25 years of strategy and operational improvement experience, and particular expertise in innovation and growth within consumer and technology-led businesses. He is co-leader of Eden McCallum’s Telecoms, Media & Technology practice and works extensively in other sectors, recently including leisure and consumer goods.
Having begun his career with Bain in London, Chris went on to MAC Group/Gemini Consulting where he was ultimately a Vice President, leading large client and consulting teams in projects focused on strategy and transformation; clients spanned telecoms, financial services, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals. He went on to lead growth and innovation consultancy Strategos in Europe.
Chris has overseen over 40 successful Eden McCallum teams over the last 8 years. In particular he has worked extensively at the interface of technology change and customer behaviour, notably in broadcast media, information services, and in sustainability.
Ulrich is a senior-partner level consultant with over 20 years’ experience in working at the intersection of strategy, operations and technology, particularly in financial services, and has been leading Eden McCallum projects since 2016.
Having started his career at McKinsey & Co in Germany and the US, where he focused on financial services, he subsequently became COO of HSH Nordbank AG. He then joined the Executive Board of Avaloq Evolution AG in Zürich as GM for Central and Eastern Europe.
Ulrich holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Darmstadt.
